About Our Founder

Marcy Thomas is a devoted lover of Jesus Christ, an ordained minister, and the passionate founder of Power in the Word Ministries (dba: Bridge to Empowerment Foundation). With a heart for service, Marcy has committed her life to helping others, especially those in underserved communities, overcome their challenges and discover their true potential.

A graduate of Aspen Christian College with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Ministry, Marcy has over 30 years of organizational leadership experience, where she has earned accolades for her dynamic leadership skills, team-building expertise, and ability to inspire others to excel. As a skilled workshop facilitator and sought-after speaker, she has empowered countless individuals through her engaging presentations, which combine practical wisdom with spiritual insights.

As a devoted mother of two sons, Marcy understands the value of nurturing, guidance, and the importance of community support. Her passion for helping others led her to establish Bridge to Empowerment Foundation, a ministry that aims to meet the diverse needs of the community, offering both spiritual and practical support through a wholistic approach.  Through this mobile pulpit initiative, Marcy is committed to spreading hope, providing resources, and empowering individuals to rise above their current situations.

Marcy’s vision is simple: to help people recognize their inherent worth, grow in their faith, and build stronger, more connected communities.
